Vice Minister Yu Xinrong meets Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture & Food

Vice Minister Yu Xinrong met with Dimitar Grekov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of Bulgaria in Beijing on May 9, 2014. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening China-Bulgaria agricultural cooperation and several other issues of common interest.
Yu noted that in recent years, with concerted efforts of both sides, China-Bulgaria agricultural cooperation made steady progress and yielded fruitful results.
The Chinese side is keen to work with Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Bulgaria, to promote bilateral collaboration to a new height.
At the meeting, the two sides reached consensus on convening the next Agro-trade & Economic Cooperation Forum between China and Central-Eastern European Countries in Bulgaria,and agreed to intensify joint efforts and cement partnership in agricultural S&T, farm machinery, rose
cultivation and processing, agricultural trade, and so forth.
Officials of Department of Farm Mechanization and Bureau of State Farms & Land Reclamation of MOA attended the meeting.
